Dosage and Administration Guidelines

Diane-35, containing cyproterone acetate and ethinylestradiol, is taken orally. Always follow your doctor’s instructions precisely.

Starting Diane-35

Begin taking Diane-35 on the first day of your menstrual cycle (the first day of bleeding). If you start on a later day, use additional contraception for the first seven days.

Daily Dosage

Take one tablet daily, at approximately the same time each day, with or without food. Each pack contains 21 tablets. After completing the pack, a seven-day break follows before starting a new pack.

Missed Pill

If you miss one pill, take it as soon as you remember, even if it means taking two pills in one day. Continue with your regular schedule. If you miss two or more pills, consult your doctor immediately. You may need backup contraception.

Stopping Treatment

Do not stop taking Diane-35 abruptly without consulting your doctor. They will advise on a safe and gradual discontinuation plan.

Specific Circumstances

Breastfeeding: Diane-35 is not recommended during breastfeeding. Liver Disease: Use with caution if you have liver problems; your doctor will assess your suitability. Smoking: Smoking significantly increases the risk of serious side effects; consider alternative contraceptive methods if you smoke.
